Everything is so delicious . From left to right: curry puff, roasted duck noodles, lamb curry and Hainanese chicken. The waitress is so friendly and super efficient . Highly recommended!
I'd come back just for the Pork buns. Good value for a full dinner. The Beef Rendang with the Coconut Rice was delicious! It's better all mixed together, but served separate if you hate food touching. Thank you Jackie! Hope to come back.
Came across this place while scrolling through IG. For appetizers we ordered roti canai with lentil soup and lamb samosa. Roti canai came very warm & flaky. The lentil soup portio is the tinest I have ever seen but it's delicious. The samosa shell is crisp & the filing is generous For entree we order Nasi Lemak which is a coconut rice with beef rendang, gochujang slaw, half boild egg, peanuts and chilli sauce. The rendang was cut in bites size with distinct taste of coconut which is delicious. The meat was tender yet still maintain the structure. 2nd entry was roadt duck with very savory butter garlic rice. Duck skin was very crispy. Very small dining area, 5 tables only. With they have bigger space. Will come again.
Delicious, clean, affordable, no fuss, and no wait! The roti canai is so flaky crispy yet melts in your mouth. The duck and BBQ pork were succulent. It was clear everything was made in-house. I will definitely add this to the date nite rotation.
One of the best restaurants in Cincinnati, period. The food is packed with bold, authentic flavors. You can really taste the quality in every dish. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is always warm and attentive. If you have not been yet, you are seriously missing out. A true gem.
My family tried Sago for my Father’s Day dinner and we couldn’t have been more pleased. It is a small space so either get there early or be patient and grab a drink or two at one of the neighboring bars. I got the Nasi Lemak with beef rendang. Such wonderful, unique flavors! The flavor/texture combinations are outstanding and create a delicious meal. My wife got the BBQ pork noodles. Her meal looked very good and she said she was sad when it was over. Two full meals + three drinks, including a mango boba and Malaysian tea was $46, including tip. Very reasonable! We will definitely be back.
I thoroughly enjoyed the humble chef and attentive service. The interior is amazing and very cozy! The food was delicious overall, though I felt the pricing was somewhat high. Paper plates and plastic made me uncomfortable I try to be eco friendly.
